Breathing Techniques to Transform Your Well-Being
Join us for a FUN and INTERACTIVE course on the power of breath and positive energy while we head into the hectic holiday season.

About Our Speaker:
Ayo Handy-Kendi, the Breath Sekou, CEO, PositivEnergyWorks, founder Optimum Life Breathology
The term(s) “Breathology” and “Breathologists” were concepts coined and developed by Ayo Handy-Kendi in 2004. In this year, she further developed a business called PositivEnergyWorks, to share the breathing techniques that she developed into a system she called Optimum Life Breathology (O.L.B.)
Meditation and Yoga were her first breath trainings as early as 1970 then she studied and became certified in other energy practices such as Qigong, Tai Chi, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Tara, Reiki, Ra Sekhi, along with singing and performance that utilized breath techniques
She committed to the practice of breath facilitation when she became a Certified Transformational Facilitator (CTF) in 1996. By now, she is known as Mama Ayo, storyteller, cultural speaker, author, publisher, spokesperson in the media, who has served the public as a degreed counselor, community organizer, wholistic practitioner and human services activist, since 1970
On-going breath training, with many master teachers, helped her recognize that students who studied the many paths of breath, who engaged in the mechanics of breath and its’ many daily applications -needed a term that identified this practice. "Breathology" distinguished the practice of using breath techniques for everyday application along with transformation, from the widely used term "Breathwork" which focused more on transformation in the '70'
Her signatures "Relearn How to Breathe" technique of adjusting shallow breathing to a deep breath, has been facilitated to millions and is the foundational breath technique in her training system, which she developed in 2009 which she called Optimum Life Breathology (OLB).
