Kelly Divito, MS, BSDH, RDH
Kelly is a proud alumna of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2008. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and is a proud “first generation” college graduate. She proudly served as a two-year president of Ohio State’s Dental Alumni Society with her term ending in 2025. She is a passionate life long learner, advocate, and volunteer.
Course description: As the number of people with pre-diabetes and obesity increases, so does the number of patients who are taking GLP-1 agonists. Are you prepared to give patients taking these medicines the tools to prevent negative oral side effects? This course is designed to inform the dental clinician about what a GLP-1 agonist medicine is, does, and its impact on the mouth. The course will share tips and dental considerations for prevention and encourage communication around GLP-1 agonists in the dental office. The course aims to support dental clinicians in serving the GLP-1 population within their office. Don't miss out on this opportunity!
