The Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association (VDHA) maintains a robust advocacy effort on behalf of the profession, including oral health access issues.

Each year, hundreds of dental hygienists and dental hygiene students visit the Virginia General Assembly and educate the legislature about dental hygiene and oral health issues.

VDHA representatives attend Board of Dentistry meetings to keep you informed of any regulatory updates impacting the practice of dental hygiene.
